Punjab State Centre
1. The St. John Ambulance Association, Punjab State Centre, was re-organized to become composite Punjab and Haryana State Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association in November, 1966 to serve the States of Punjab, Haryana and Union Territory of Chandigarh. This composite Centre was bifurcated into separate units for Punjab and Haryana and the work of Union Territory of Chandigarh has been transferred to the existing Chandigarh local Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association. In accordance with the decisions taken by the Executive Committee of the composite Centre in its meeting held on 26-5-1971 and ratified by the Annual General Meeting of the composite Centre held jointly with the Annual General Meeting of composite Punjab and Haryana State Red Cross Branch on 1-6-1971, the separate Punjab State Centre of the St. John Ambulance Association started functioning with effect from 10th June, 1971.
2. The Vice-Chairman shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the State Centre.
3. The State Secretary shall be the Executive Officer and the Administrative Head of the State Centre.
