Red Cross Punjab State, district Gurdaspur is actively involved in organising flood relief efforts. Our teams are working to provide immediate assistance and every possible support to the families affected by flooding. These efforts include distributing food, water, shelter, medical supplies, and other essential items to those in dire need.
PUNJAB RED CROSS IN THE FOREFRONT OF FLOOD RELIEF IN THE STATE
As a part of the massive flood relief efforts mounted by the Punjab State Red Cross, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, the Governor of Punjab, who is also the President of Punjab State Red Cross today flagged off a fleet of vehicles loaded with critical flood relief articles like superior double fly water proof tents, heavy duty tarpaulins, hygiene kits and kitchen sets etc. The relief material sent by Punjab Red Cross to various effected areas was approximately worth Rs 42 lacs.
