Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State Branch Celebrates Diwali
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh, S. Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS (Retd.), led a humanitarian initiative to spread joy and warmth among the needy.
In a noble gesture, the Secretary, IRCS Punjab team visited the Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, and distributed essential items to admitted patients. The distribution included:
– Fresh fruits
– Warm blankets
– Protective masks
– Gowns
The team wished the patients good health, prosperity, and a speedy recovery.
“This Diwali, we wanted to bring smiles to those who need it most,” said S. Shivdular Singh Dhillon. “Indian Red Cross Society is committed to serving humanity and promoting compassion.”
The patients and hospital staff expressed gratitude for the kindness and generosity shown by the IRCS team.
