On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. and State NSS Cell, celebrated World Earth Day at Government Model High School, Dhanas. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” emphasized the importance of ensuring a clean and healthy environment. The event was held under the guidance of Sh. Shivdular Singh Dhillon, Secretary, IAS (Retd.) which aimed to educate and raise awareness about environmental conservation.
A cleanliness drive was conducted, where a nearby park in a slum area was cleaned by the team of Punjab State Red Cross Branch, along with NSS volunteers.
