Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Conducts State Meet at Youth Hostel Mussoorie from 17th March 2025 to 21st March 2025

The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, organized State meet at Youth Hostel at Mussoorie (Uttrakhand). The camp aimed to equip participants with essential life-saving skills, empowering them to respond effectively in emergency situations. The camp commenced with an introductory session on First Aid and Home Nursing. Subsequent training sessions adopted a practical approach, simulating real-life scenarios to enhance learning. Participants engaged in immersive mock drills, showcasing their skills through hands-on experience. Team-based competitions added an exciting dimension, with participants demonstrating their expertise through viva voice and scenario-based challenges. Throughout the camp, participants enjoyed comfortable accommodations and savored delicious, home-style meals that exceeded expectations.

On the last day of the camp, S. Shivdular Singh Dhillon, Secretary of the Punjab State branch, arrived at the campsite. He addressed the participants with a wonderful speech, motivating and encouraging them to apply their newly acquired skills in real-life situations. The ceremony also included an awards distribution, where winners of the competitions were recognized and rewarded for their outstanding performance.

This camp has empowered participants with essential life-saving skills, fostering a community of confident res-ponders. The Indian Red Cross society, Punjab State Branch look forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future.
