Red Cross Salutes the Paralympian Medallists: Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna Honors the Paralympians
After the glorious performance of India in the Tokyo Olympics, still a greater glory was achieved by the bold and determined Paralympians. Indian contingent finished their campaign at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020 at an all-time high by securing 19 Medals which includes 5 Gold, 8 Silver and 6 Bronze. A salient feature of these Olympians is that each medallist was personally encouraged by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi Ji.
A similar gesture was awaited by the Paralympians also. Indian Red Cross Society feels honored that our Vice Chairman at National Headquarters, Sh.Avinash Rai Khanna is also the Chief Patron of Paralympian Association of India. In a separate function organized in the honor of Paralympians’, Shri Avinash Rai Khanna honoured not only the medallist but also the participants. This gesture of Shri Avinash Rai Khanna is highly appreciated by sports’ lovers of India.
